New garden species
Andrena carantonica (Hawthorn mining bee)♀︎
A femalee Hawthorn mining bee (Andrena scotica). I’ve observed this species some time later in May on Firethorn. Here she came flying by and take a quick break on the apple tree.
So retrospectively this was the date on which I saw this species for the first time: een nieuwe tuinsoort (zie ook https://kerfdier.nl/8719/).
