The Sweatbee species Lasioglossum sexstrigatum observed on Marsh-marigold (Caltha palustris).
The female bee roamed around on a small Creeping woodsorrel plant in front of the backdoor. After taking some photo’s I let her crawl on my hand to move her to a safer place as the odds were against somebody not crushing her. I put her on the nearest flower which turned out to be Marsh-marigold. At first she walked around a little but then moved in to eat. As far as I could see she did not collect pollen.
