This female Pemphredon inornata ^[1] had taken residence in one of the vertical stems setup throughout our garden. Curiously she observed the stranger at her door. Occasionally she would reverse out of sight into the corridor followed by immediately popping out the entrance with her head a few times, repeating this a few times in a row like playing peek-a-boo. Remarkable.
