Success!

Two Orange tip (Anthocharis cardamines) caterpillar have developed, both in Garlic mustard (Alliara petiolata). A first instar caterpillar crawled from the earlier recorded egg, and elsewhere in the garden a fifth instar roamed in its host plant showing at least one egg had been deposited earlier than the recorded one.
