Observations

The Southern oak bush cricket (Meconema meridionale) [1] is the most abundant grasshopper in our garden. The species can be found on many plants what possibly explains the success of this established introduced species [1]. A handful nymphs, all males, crawled around in the Apple tree (Malus sp.) pruning material.
