A small shadow slipped into the darkened opening of a backwards shifted Bamboo stem in the bee hotel, a female Passaloecus insignis. Flying busily back and forth she constructed her nest in the stem with a diameter of about two and a half millimeters. Among others she brought in resin for the construction of a wall between the brood cells.
