The Map (Eupatorium cannabinum) honoured us with a visit. This butterfly is a common species in the Netherlands, but in this area I seldom see them; it is a very rare species in the garden. This is the second time in five years one appears in the garden. The nectar visit on Hemp agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum) didn’t take long though, after a few hours it had moved on.
