Another snout beetle that has Common mallow as its host plant is Pseudapion rufirostre [1]. They are always present on the plant, although in smaller numbers than Aspidapion radiolus.

This is a female since she has a unicolour snout and the coxae of the forelegs are grey, not orange [2].
