A male Valgus hemipterus ^[1], a smaller beetle from the family of scarab beetles (Scarabaeidae) feeds on nectar and pollen of Candytuft (Iberis sempervirens) flowers. His foraging took the majority of the day and on other days a specimen was present as well, possibly the same one.
