Among the foraging wasps in the garden the European paper wasp (Polistes dominula) ^[1] is well represented this year. Previous years the species was limited to one or two foraging specimen on Fennel and especially Trumpet vine (Campsis radicans). A first for this year are the visiting males, at least two specimen. This male drank nectar at the bottom of the tube shaped Trumpet vine flower.
