This long expexted butterfly, the Common blue (Polyommatus icarus) ^[1], finally made it to the garden. It is a badly worndown female that has been roaming around for a couple of days now. Hopefully she will oviposition. It is a common species in the Netherlands but very nice none the less especially the fact that it finally arrived after seven years of observation makes me happy 😎
