I had my sight on this digger wasp that flew nonstop around Garlic mustard plants, every now and then touching down on a leaf to place a scent mark. The fresh males do not slow downs which makes it very difficult to photograph them in ‘the wild’.
After shooting a somewhat acceptable phtoto I caught it for identificateion, which turns out to be Passaloecus gracilis.
