Stelis punctulatissima [1] is a permanent resident in our garden. Every year a few specimen are active, usually two females and one male. It is a parasitic species that does not construct nests themselves. They are attracted by the host species in the bee hotels. The males as well as the females regularly drink nectar on Salvia (Salvia sp.). Here a female is foraging.
