Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is another spring-bloomer in the garden that is frequently visited for nectar by the males as well as the females of the Red mason bee (Osmia bicornis syn. Osmia rufa) [1]. Here a male is foraging.

Other bee species are less frequently found on the plant. An exception to this are bumblebees, the group that uses the plant most intensively.
