This nice looking male of the Common Field Grasshopper (Chorthippus brunneus) [1] moved softly chirping through the garden calling for the attention of a female.
His sandy appearance with orange signal colours blended into the mixture of yellow-grey sand sprinkled with brown and orange accents of dried leafs resting on the garden tiles.
