A new garden species on the bee hotel: a male Passaloecus corniger [1].
Possibly he inspected the bee hotel for the presence of females or a place to rest since it was the end of the afternoon, 17:40, which is the moment that more wasp males will arrive on the bee hotel in search of a resting place for the night.
I’ve caught him for identification and after being set free he continued his business on the bee hotel.
