Another Cerceris male on the bee hotel. this time I’ve caught him for identification: it is of the species Cerceris arenaria ^[1].

The male is timid and is easily scared of by the other visitors on the bee hotel, even though he is larger. This one was ±12mm in length.

After Identification I released him back on the hotel where he continued his business looking for a free room.
