I noticed this Holly blue (Celastrina argiolus) [1] female fluttering above Common ragwort (Jacobaea vulgaris) flower butts, which struck me like she was looking for a suitable spot to lay an egg.And for sure, shortly thereafter she landed to lay an egg. She did this five times in total, each on a different plants.
After finishing with the ragwort she flew to a Lucerne plant next to it and deposited some more eggs on it as well, see here.
