This Ruby-tailed wasp (Chrysis ignita sp. inc.) [1] walked up to one of the closed Ancistrocerus nigricornis nests, see here, and started demolishing the entrance plug. Minutes and a pile of removed rubble later she gave up and continued inspecting the rest of the bee hotels.

Update 2024/12/28

Based on what seems to be a thin, although not clearly visible mandible, the dorsal black coloring with less contrasting colored punctation on the thorax and head, and dull tergite 3, this is possibly C. schencki.
