I had spotted this female Coelioxys bee vrouwtjes regularly while foraging on Salvia spec.. During three weeks she came by once or twice a day but I didn’t succceed in catching her. On this day I spotted her early in the morning foraging on Halimium umbellatum and finally managed to catch her.
After identification, see here, it turned out to be a female Coelioxys elongata [1], (see here for the confirmation of bee expert Albert de Wilde).
