A new garden species and hotel guest, a female Symmorphus bifasciatus [1].

I had captured her for an extensive photo session but unfortunately she did not survive that. As I released her after the photo session she flew away but probably landed on me, which I did not notice because it was already dark outside, because next day I found her inside the house dead on the stairs 😞

Here she can be seen on the bee hotel in section II, nest blocks 2 and 8. She flew near nightfall repeatedly into nest block 2 in one of the stones, probably to sleep.
