An Ant damsel bug (Himacerus mirmicoides) ^[1] hunting for athropods, and especially insects ^[2], on Giant goldenrod (Solidago gigantea). The species normally forages low to the ground but can sometimes be found high in herbs ^[2] like here.

This specimen was foraging on the ground.
