Nieuwe sluipwesp duikt op in Vondelpark

NatureToday announces the find of a new ichneumonid wasp species in the Netherlands. The wasp was found in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam, the major park in that city. It is a very small wasp with a body length of about 2mm (head to tip abdomen).

Remarkable that such a find can be done just in ones “backyard” by looking carefully.
