Male Chelostoma rapunculi [1] bees on Musk-mallow (Malva moschata). Like other species in this plant genus in the garden, this plant also offers a great attraction on the male Chelestoma bees.

The males use the plant often as a sleeping place during the night, and can be found alone or in pairs.
